Following Snoop Dogg’s amusing commentary during the Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. fight on Saturday night (Nov. 28), it’s been reported that he has already begun to make some moves in the boxing world. According to TMZ Sports, the California entrepreneur has teamed up with Triller co-owner Ryan Kavanaugh to launch The Fight Club, their own professional boxing league.

“This was the first event of a league that we have called ‘The Fight Club.’ It’s a league owned by Proxima, which is the parent company to Triller, and Snoop, and this was the first of many, many events,” Kavanaugh told TMZ Sports.

“This is gonna be big. The whole idea is we want to change up the way that boxing is done. I can tell you that the main fight — I can’t say it yet — but it’s gonna be something that everybody wants to see.”

Per the Triller co-owner, Snoop’s potential responsiblities will include booking fights and musical acts and providing his hilarious commentary, which entertained viewers watching last weekend’s showdown.

“If you thought [Tyson vs. Jones Jr.] is big, I think that this would be even larger from a worldwide-appetite perspective and something that people want to see,” he added.

Despite the boxing match between Tyson and Jone Jr. ending in a draw, social media users named the “Beautiful” emcee the real winner of the battle, tweeting photos and clips of his comical take on the fight. Many suggested he become a recurring commentator — an idea he seemed willing to entertain for the right price.

On Sunday (Nov. 29), Snoop shared an Instagram post that hinted at his ideal salary for a sports commentator job. “Here’s who won tonight: Snoop Dog, hands down,” the rapper’s post read. “Someone sign @SnoopDogg to a multi-year contract. He’s a natural commentator. He’s Barkley on steroids. He’s hilarious! 3 years for $15 million? Who’ll make the call?”
