Benny the Butcher is not fully healed just yet. The rapper gave an update about his health following the shooting he was involved in last month and revealed that his right foot doesn’t “work” after he was shot in the leg during an attempted robbery in Texas. The New York emcee appeared on an Instagram Live earlier this week and addressed his fans, letting them know how he is doing after the incident.

“You know me, my shit is good. My shit copacetic. My shit don’t work,” he said while reaching down to his foot. “Let n***as know, my shit don’t work. My foot don’t work. My leg is healed,” he said. “I hate saying that shit but I know some people wanna know.”

The rapper recently appeared on “The Joe Budden Podcast” and opened up about the shooting, revealing he’s going to choose Target instead of Walmart from now on since that’s where he was shot.

“It’s like I tell ni**as: I really ain’t feel famous until I got shot,” the Buffalo native said. “I have been through the streets. I done took all kinds of dope from ni**as; I done did all shit to ni**as, and they didn’t shoot me until I became a rapper. So, I realize I’m in a different arena and I gotta play that way.”

The Griselda rapper was shot on Nov. 14 while at a Walmart parking lot in Houston, Texas. According to reports, five masked men pulled up to him and his friends demanding their jewelry and “whipped out guns.” One of the robbers eventually shot the rapper in the leg because the group was moving “too slow,” causing everyone to flee the scene.

Benny and his team eventually pulled over and called the cops when they felt it was safe enough and he was taken to a hospital and discharged shortly after. The rapper was the only one injured during the gunfire.
