Welp! Season 29 of ABC’s hit show “Dancing With The Stars” has officially wrapped up tonight (Nov. 23) and, unfortunately, millions of its viewers are not happy with how the series did Nelly.

Joining this season’s cast of competitors, the rapper quickly grew to be a fan favorite as he gave his all every week for watchers at home. Nelly would dance a number of different types of dance routines — and, of course, in Jordans aka J’s — in order to win over the hearts of show viewers who would then cast their votes for what celeb that wanted to stay another week. Having a number of scary moments this season, as he was in the bottom ranks on more than one occasion, Nelly continued to come out supreme after each episode with not only votes, but high scores from show judges.

However, this finale, his winning streak ended. The St. Louis rapper was ultimately sent home without a trophy. Instead, Artem Chigvintsev and his partner Kaitlyn Bristowe of “The Bachelor” took home the crown. Needless to say, many of Nelly’s fans were upset about this news.

“@Nelly_Mo breaks my heart that my favorite singer/actor got robbed of winning @DancingABC. He worked his ass off on that dance floor. he was the best dancer 2,” Twitter user Renee Ann Phillips wrote.

Another Twitter user by the name of Mariposa just flat out said, “Nelly was ROBBED.”

A third person added: Thank you @Nelly_Mo for being the only reason I’ve looked forward to Mondays the past few months! True entertainment and I’ll miss watching you on #DWTS!!!”

Aside from competing during the finale episode, the star performed a melody of his hits, which viewers enjoyed, as well. If Nelly would’ve actually won “Dancing With The Stars,” he would’ve made history as the first rapper to do so.

All good, Nelly. You’re still a winner in our eyes. See other reactions to the artist losing below.
