“It’s a blessing from God because his kids and his family will be good for the rest of they life,” said Track, King Von’s manager.

King Von’s hustle and proper management of his music have secured financial support for his immediate family in his absence. The “Crazy Story” emcee — who was fatally shot in Atlanta — reportedly owned his masters, so his royalties will go to them.

Von’s manager, Track, shared the news during a conversation with DJ Akademiks about the late rapper. “As a team, our number one focus is to make sure that his immediate family is taken care of. His mom, you know, his sisters, his brothers. Von had two kids. Just making sure they got a trust, trust funds, whatever income,” he said.

“He owns all his masters. He wasn’t an artist that sold his publishing. So, everything belongs to him,” he continued. “It’s a blessing from God because his kids and his family will be good for the rest of they life.”

Von was reportedly signed to Lil Durk’s Only the Family label as well as EMPIRE — both of whom honored the Chicago native with touching tributes — but Track clarified the Levon James star was never signed to anybody. He further explained that his deals with EMPIRE were “commitment projects,” adding that he will be a “very lucrative artist” once he “recoups” the project commitments he had with EMPIRE.

Von’s star-studded debut album, Welcome to O’ Block — which featured Polo G, Prince Dre, Dreezy, Moneybagg Yo and Fivio Foreign — was released last month through EMPIRE and Only the Family. Following his death, the project debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard 200, becoming his highest-charting debut ever.

According to Track, the rapper worked hard in the studio and has two projects worth of unreleased music in addition to about 10 videos that have not yet come out. “He had two more projects that he could’ve dropped,” Track said. “Von was an artist that work ethic was phenomenal.”
