It definitely goes down in the DM — and Quavo and Saweetie’s relationship is proof of that.

On Wednesday (Oct. 7), the Migos rapper took part in the “How It Started…How It’s Going” challenge on Twitter where others shared photos of how they first met their significant other and how their relationship is going now.

Quavo shared a screenshot of his first DM to Saweetie, which happened back in 2018. He sent a snowflake emoji and she replied with an emoji of a bowl of noodles, which was a ode to the Migos hit, “Stir Fry.” The “Workin Me” emcee then replied, “U so icy Ima glacier boy,” to which she messaged back, “Was hannin then.”

The two have been together ever since. The “Tap In” rapper starred as the leading lady in Quavo’s visuals for “Workin Me.” A few months later, he bought her a $75,000 snowflake chain for their first Christmas together.

Back in July, the pair revealed how they met on Instagram in an interview with GQ. “I seen her on my Explore page,” recalled Quavo. “I was like, ‘Damn! Who is this?’ So, I did my research and I DM’d her. I was like, ‘How she going to call herself icy and she don’t talk to me?’ So, I slid in her DM, [and] I told her, ‘You an icy girl, you need a glacier boy.’”

“He’s always been fine to me,” added Saweetie. “In a group chat [with friends], I would screenshot his picture and be like, ‘Damn, this n*gga is fine.’”

The self-proclaimed Baby Hair Princess recently opened up to Page Six about waiting to have kids with Quavo until she reaches her goals. “I have a lot of goals for myself and, if we’re being honest, my parents had me at a young age, so my grandparents raised me,” she said. “I never really had that relationship with my mom and my dad. So, whenever I have a kid, I want to make sure I have time for them, and right now I don’t.”
