Iggy Azalea’s son has made his Instagram debut. The rapper shared the first photos of her child on her page on Saturday (Oct. 24), four months after announcing that she and Playboi Carti had welcomed their first child together in May.

The rapper shared two photos of herself cradling her little one, as he rests on her hip and they both look directly into the camera. The new mom simply captioned the post with an angel emoji. Over the weekend, the emcee also confirmed that she and the “Magnolia” rapper have broken up and that she was raising her son alone.

The “Black Widow” rapper first hinted at a breakup in a series of cryptic messages that she shared on her Instagram Story Friday (Oct. 23.) “You lost a real 1,” she wrote in one message adding, “People take loyalty for granted & that’s why I’d rather be alone.”

“One thing I’ll never understand is how liars live with themselves,” she added. “That sh-t don’t eat y’all up inside?”

She later shared another message, confirming the split, and saying she is raising Onyx by herself. “What I meant last night was that I’m raising my son alone & I’m not in a relationship.”

In June, the “Fancy” rapper confirmed the rumors that she and Playboi Carti welcomed a son on her Instagram Story. “I have a son,” Azalea wrote. “I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realize I’m always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world.”

“I want to keep his life private but wanted to make it clear his is not a secret and I love him beyond words,” she added.

She confirmed the baby’s name a month after the announcement with a graphic on Instagram that featured her birth name and his, reading: “Amethyst & Onyx.” The Australian rapper is said to have given birth in May and was rumored to be six months pregnant in December.

Playboi Carti and Azalea met in 2018 while she was on tour overseas. They moved in together after three months of dating. The couple was also rumored to be engaged, which neither has confirmed nor denied.
