Azriel Clary confirmed on Twitter that Joycelyn Savage has been arrested and charged with assault.

“Joycelyn is sadly in jail for assault, I thank everyone for sending me lots of love and prayers,” Clary tweeted on Thursday (Jan. 9.) “You all will know everything sooner than later.”

The two R. Kelly girlfriends were engaged in a fistfight on Wednesday (Jan. 8), which was captured on Clary’s Instagram Live. Clary previously announced she’d be moving out of the Trump Tower residence she shares with Savage and previously shared with Kelly. While in the process of moving out her things, the two women got into an argument that turned physical, with Clary accusing Savage of having sex with her when she was a minor.

“You were sleeping with me as a minor!” Clary can be heard yelling at Savage. “I feel sorry for you, you’re going to jail mama.” During the video, she also tells Savage she’ll be pressing charges.

Chicago police responded to the situation shortly after and Clary was taken to Northwestern Hospital. She’s reportedly in good condition.

A Chicago Police Department press released read that “The female victim [Clary] and the 24-year-old offender [Savage] were engaged in a physical altercation until separated by unknown individuals at the scene.”

Elsewhere in the Live, Clary confirmed she’s moving out of the residence “in a day or two” and revealed that she’d been lying for Kelly.

“Rob has been lying to all of y’all. And that’s the sad part about it. He’s been lying to y’all asses and had people like me lying for him,” she said. “And that’s why we never watched the documentary.”

She also mentioned her and Savage’s interview with Gayle King, suggesting that she lied to protect Kelly during the interview.

No further reports have been released about Savage’s bail or charges.
