Celebrities are now hitting the red carpet for the 62nd Grammy Awards and everyone is feeling the sadness surrounding the untimely death of Kobe Bryant.

When asked about Bryant’s passing, Ross replied, “To me Kobe was a great example in so many different ways, on so many different levels not just for being a dude that scored 81, but for the dude that carried himself so classy. So many wins on his belt he moved so, was always in silence. You now so it's a huge loss. I can’t really, you know, say it no better than that.”

Ty Dolla Sign told Brittney Hopper of CBS, “We in Kobe’s house right now and it’s Kobe’s house forever.”

E! News host Ryan Seacrest kicked off the Grammys red carpet with a touching tribute to Bryant.

“We are starting the show on a very somber note,” Seacrest began. “We want to take a moment to say we are deeply saddened by the passing of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and the others aboard the helicopter which tragically crashed today in Calabasas, California.”

He continued, “Kobe was 41 years old and was one of the greatest basketball players and greatest athletes to ever live. His loss will be felt even more deeply tonight at a place he considered home. This is the Staples Center. We’re sending our heartfelt condolences to his beloved wife and the family he left behind. His absence will be felt by so many people that he touched.”

Bryant was pronounced dead today (Jan. 26) by TMZ. Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant were taking a helicopter to a basketball game with several others when their helicopter crashed. There were no survivors. Bryant is survived by his wife, Vanessa, and his other three daughters, Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.
