After weeks of Instagram-teasing, Drake and Future have officially come through with their latest collaboration and first single of the year, “Life Is Good.” The Atlanta-Toronto duo started celebrating the new release before it was even out, with matching extravagent chains.

According to TMZ, both pieces were made by jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills and include over half a kilo of gold and 40-carat diamonds. The chains depict each rapper’s respective label logo, an OVO owl and Freebandz eagle, with Drake opting for gold and Future choosing silver. Each piece is reportedly worth $200,000.

Drake had the chains shipped out to Atlanta last month so they could be included in the duo’s “Life Is Good” music video, which arrived on Friday (Jan. 10). The five-minute clip finds Drizzy and Future working different career paths—car mechanics, garbagemen, sales associates and cashiers—as they discuss their rap-star dreams.

The Director X-led video also includes cameos from Lil Yachty, 21 Savage, Mike Will Made-It and Big Bank Black. The fast food restaurant scene is a familiar image, as a photo of the rappers filming the video in Atlanta surfaced the internet last month.

Drake teased “Life Is Good” on Sunday evening (Jan. 5) with a cryptic upload to his Instagram Story. The photo previewed what appeared to be the single’s music video, along with the words “Life Is Good” and “Future + Drake.” At the time, fans were unsure whether the release would amount to a single or a follow-up project to their 2015 record, What A Time To Be Alive.

While neither rapper has confirmed that a sequel album is in fact on the way, Drake did say that he and Future are consistently working together on new material during his two-hour interview with “Rap Radar.”

“We’re always working, we’re always working,” he said. “We got some stuff.”
