Ashanti fans, rejoice! Omarion announced in an Instagram post on Thursday (Dec. 5) that the R&B Queen will be the special guest on his upcoming Millennium 2020 Tour.

“So excited to announce that *Ashanti * will be joining The Millennium Tour lineup,” he wrote.

This year, Ashanti released singles “Pretty Little Thing” featuring Afro B, “Floating” and “The Road” with Machel Montano. She also appeared on the 2000’s-themed cover art for Tory Lanez’ Chixtape 5.

Omarion announced the relaunch of the Millennium tour last month, after being reluctantly pulled into some drama over his ex, Apryl Jones, and bandmate, Lil Fizz’s, new relationship. B2K headlined the wildly successful 2019 Millennium Tour, which grossed over $6.7 million. However, following the news of the couple’s new relationship, Omarion revealed he’d be embarking on the Millennium Tour 2020 without the rest of his group. Instead, co-headliner Bow Wow, Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, Sammie, Pretty Ricky, Soulja Boy and Ashanti will accompany him.

Omarion seemed largely unbothered by the news of the couple’s relationship and addressed the drama in an interview on Vlad TV.

“I don’t feel no ways. I don’t feel any way about it… if they’re happy then they should be happy,” he said. “I think they should change the narrative though. Because if it’s their so-called happiness then I shouldn’t be a part of it.”

Bow Wow also spoke on avoiding the drama in an interview with TMZ.

“Positive energy outweighs the negative energy... but of course the internet is the internet, and they’re gonna take it and run with it,” he said. “Me and O, we’re not even involved with that. We just wanna give fans a good show.”

J-Boog, however, blamed Fizz for causing a riff between B2K in an Instagram Live video.

“Fizzle Pop ruined everything,” he previously said. “I wouldn’t say he ruined everything, but about 99 percent of it though.”

General tickets for the Millennium 2020 Tour go on sale at 10 a.m. EST on Friday (Dec. 6). Discounted pre-sale tickets are available today (Dec. 5) using the codes PARTY of HITS. The Millennium Tour will span across 31 cities, launching in Louisville, KY on Feb. 29.
