After filling up Joel Osteen’s mega Lakewood Church in Houston, Kanye West will bring his Sunday Service choir to Osteen’s “America’s Night of Hope” sermon at the Yankee Stadium in New York. TMZ reports that the two will team up for the major event on May 2, 2020, possibly as a tour stop on ‘Ye’s upcoming Jesus Is King tour.

According to the outlet, this will be Osteen’s third time bringing his “America’s Night of Hope” event to the famed stadium, which can hold over 54,000 people. The pastor has previously toured the religious event to several cities across the country.

The New York “Night of Hope” will reportedly mirror Ye and Osteen’s last collaboration in Houston, with Osteen taking the stage for his sermon and Kanye and his choir giving a special performance.

At the Lakewood Church, Kanye and his choir performed to 45,000 people for free. TMZ reports that tickets for Osteen’s past “America’s Night of Hope” have gone for $15 each, but Kanye’s addition could see an increase in the price.

During their last event, Kanye also took the pulpit and defended Osteen’s role within the Christian community, as well as speaking about his own religious journey.

Kanye released his gospel-rap album Jesus Is King in October. Despite earning mixed reviews, the record earned ‘Ye his ninth consecutive No. 1 album debut, which tied him with Eminem for the longest-running Billboard Top 200 No. 1 album debut streak in history.

News of the upcoming “America’s Night of Hope” performance arrives in a string of recent religiously based events for Kanye, who premiered his first-ever opera last month. As for a tour, the Chicago-bred rapper has declared he’s ready to hit the road “right away.” In October, he told TMZ that this tour will offer something different than his Saint Pablo Tour.
