Fans are accusing Summer Walker of starting her Toronto concert hours late, after touring around with city with Drake and London On Da track.

The concert allegedly began 2 to 3 hours late and only last around 45 minutes. The show was reportedly billed for an 8 p.m. doors opening, but fans tweeted that they were denied entry until after 9, with Summer appearing after 11. Attendees also claimed that the venue’s security wasn’t equipped to deal with the mob of people who rushed inside, after standing for hours out in the cold.

Further angering fans, Summer had posted videos of her time in Toronto throughout the day, posing for polaroids with her boyfriend and producer London On Da Track and the 6 God himself.

“Don’t get me wrong, I still love Summer Walker’s music, but she really did us dirty by posting her strolling around Toronto & polaroids with Drake while so many of us waited 2hrs (more or less) outside in the cold, just to see her to perform past 11PM & only for like an hour,” one attendee tweeted.

“The fact that summer walker had the audacity to post too is what’s sending me,” another Twitter user wrote. “talkin bout ‘I love Toronto.’”

However, The Shade Room reports that the show delay was actually caused by equipment issues, not her day out with London and Drake. According to the outlet, the equipment was stuck at the Canadian-American border and Summer says she got on stage when she was instructed to. She also stated that her team never made her aware of the equipment issues prior to the performance.

Summer had previously issued a PSA of sorts on her Instagram about the Toronto show.

“Be ready for a vibe,” she wrote in a since-deleted post on Monday (Nov. 25) “If y’all wanna see 2 splits, a back flip, an a Adele belt, & one Pusey pop this show is not for you. Lol just this is for wine sippers, blunt roller, & hand swayers.”

The singer previously canceled several remaining dates on her First and Last Tour, saying that she suffers from severe social anxiety. Summer has addressed the disorder numerous times and responded to critics who say it’s all an act.

“You know the scariest sh*t I’ve been witnessing is that most of the women leaving negative comments like “it’s an act” , “I don’t have the right to act like this b/c I’m famous, “b*tch you slow” or just flat out making fun of me for being vulnerable. HAVE CHILDREN, these women have children,” she wrote. “It makes me feel soo bad cause it’s clear that if the children are developing or struggling with any type of mental disorder such as anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, it’ll be brushed to the side and will never receive any treatment because it’ll just be “an act”. These parents are probably so ignorant that instead of reading up on symptoms they just whoop the child. sad, my sh*t started at 6 so yes kids have it to.”

The Over It songstress clutched the Best New Artist Award at the 2019 Soul Train Music Awards last weekend, which she also revealed was a challenge for her to attend, due to her social anxiety.
