Later this month on Sept 17, Ray BLK will officially unveil her debut album Access Denied. So far, we’ve gotten a good amount of preview from the project, including cuts like “Games” featuring Giggs and the Kaash Paige-assisted “MIA.” Today (Sept 9), the UK star drops off her latest cut “Over You,” which boasts a feature from fellow queen Stefflon Don. On the song, Ray sings about getting over someone who was constantly on her mind:

All cried out, ain’t got nothing left, stuck with the memories all in my head/ Hurts so bad, but I gotta get over you, over you/ Took you back, that was my mistake, if you’re a player then you’ll never change/ Same old shit, now I know what I gotta do, gotta do

Said “No, No, No, No, No not ramping tonight”/ Six inch heels and dress fit me tight, grab a man and then dutty whine, you won’t see me cry/ I found a cure on the dance floor, no reply when you’re texting me/ Yeah the rhythm is my remedy, I’m getting over you/

Featured guests on the forthcoming 14-song set include Giggs, Stefflon Don, Kojey Radical, Suburban Plaza, and Kaash Paige. The album has been a couple of years in the making and Ray is “thrilled that she will be able to share her artistry, heart and soul with her fans.”

In addition to her own releases, RAY BLK could also be heard providing some show-stealing verses on songs like Nines’ “Rubber Bands,” RAYE’s “Crew,” Dutchavelli’s “Skr On Em,” and Rudimental’s “Scared Of Love.” Upon its release, Access Denied will follow the breakout EPs Durt and Empress, which were released in 2016 and 2018, respectively.

Be sure to press play on Ray BLK’s brand new single “Over You” featuring Stefflon Don.
