The original was featured on Vickery’s ‘Songs That Made Me Feel.’

Back in July, James Vickery shard his Songs That Made Me Feel project equipped with features from names like Musiq Soulchild, EARTHGANG, Rob Araujo, and Jack Dine. One of the stand-out tracks is “Hourglass,” and now he has decided to double back and give the song some extra love by adding on a new feature from the multi-talented Yung Baby Tate. On the new version, Tate slides in with her flow before they join together once again to bounce off each other for the hook:

I’ll be your pick-me-up when you feel down, let me stimulate you, babe, oh/ Want you to feel me up, these hours are ours/ Every single day, every single day, I’ll keep you warm, mmm (I’ll keep you warm)/ Just hold me closer (Closer), stay if you want (Want, want), I’m ready to make you mine this time

Said I wouldn’t stay too long, I need more than a second to fill your hourglass (No, no, no, no, ooh)/ Wait until the day is gone (Day is gone)/ I need more than a minute to fill your hourglass

This year has seen plenty of singles from James Vickery including cuts like “Somewhere, Out There,” “Finally,” “You Comfort Me” featuring EARTHGANG, and “Underneath the Mistletoe.”

Tate also recently provided another stand-out feature when she joined Mia Rodriguez in “Billion Dollar Bitch.” Back in May, Yung Baby Tate unleashed the deluxe version of her 2020 project After The Rain. She then made another return to revamp the well-received project once again, this time teaming up with DJ Hollygrove to slow down the pace a bit and give After The Rain the chopped and screwed treatment. The original After The Rain project included seven new tracks and features from Flo Milli and 6lack. She has made sure to drop off a few visuals to make her tracks come to life, including ones for “Eenie Meenie” and the Flo Milli-assisted “I Am.”

Be sure to press play on James Vickery’s remix of “Hourglass” featuring Yung Baby Tate.
