Big K.R.I.T. has just released his series of five career-defining mixtapes, Return Of 4eva, 4eva N A Day, King Remembered In Time, It’s Better This Way, and A Style Not Quite Free (12 for 12) on DSPs for the first time. The blog-era staples were previously lost in translation as the music world moved to the new norm of streaming, but they are back now and here to stay. K.R.I.T. fans can now reminisce on the classics, as fan-favorites like his “Easy” track where he raps over a smooth instrumental about the importance of keeping it real, although it’s far from easy:

Its real easy, yeah, it’s easy to be wack, its way harder to give your heart and soul, it ain’t easy to get it back/ Like a chain that you bling, it was easy to get it snatched, your friends was easy targets and you easy with the scratch

Them hoes was easier to fuck, so you easily attached/ You was easy with the car keys, and easily was jacked/ When the pussy way too easy, its so easy to get laxed

“I appreciate everybody who been riding with me over the years,” he types with gratitude before the release. “Your support is what keeps me going! Y’all been asking and it’s only right I do this for y’all! I’m proud to say that 5 of my projects will be available on all streaming services.”

Big K.R.I.T. shared his project K.R.I.T. Wuz Here back in May or last year. The body of work spanned 18 tracks and saw guest features from names like Smoke DZA, two from Curren$y, Wiz Khalifa, and Big Sant. He also could be heard handing out guest verses on songs like Tobe Nwigwe’s “BOZOS,” David Banner’s “Come Home” alongside Ne-Yo, T-Pain, Kandi and Trombone Shorty, and also for “Santos Party House” with his blog era brothers Smoke DZA, Wiz Khalifa, and Curren$y. K.R.I.T. also released his “KICKOFF” single as summer was coming to a close.
