Rah Swish and Ron Suno star in ‘BK Juice’ short film

The new offering is the follow-up to last year’s BK Belly.

Last year, Canarsie staple Rah Swish dropped off his drill-fueled short film BK Belly, named so after Hype Williams’ classic 1998 flick that helped make movie stars out of hip hop legends DMX and Nas. He has now returned to continue the series with the freshly released BK Juice.

Rah Swish connects with fellow NYC rapper and co-star Ron Suno to pay tribute to a 1992 2Pac-starring classic. Directed and produced by legendary Trackmasters duo Poke and Tone, Rah puts a Brooklyn spin on the cult classic portraying a classic story of ego, greed, and the ultimate betrayal. Of course, the short film wouldn’t be complete without a Rah track, as his “Warm Ups” bars plays while the storyline unfolds:

Look, this ain’t a game, it’s warm-ups (Warm-ups)/ I’m with the ooters, don’t talk much (Talk much) Bro hop out, do walk ups (Brrt)/ Whole lot of sticks on this tour bus (Baow)/ No, we ain’t stopping for jakes, wait, don’t give a fuck what they say/ Home run, three-four base plates/ Blue check on me, Chase Bank

The aforementioned BK Belly stars East and Holli, who head to Club H20 and execute a successful robbery — until it’s realized that the club is owned by a gangster named Rankz, played by New York hip hop veteran Red Cafe. The rather thin truce that develops quickly turns into an all out war between the young guns and the OGs, leading to disastrous results.

Last year, Rah Swish dropped off his WOO Forever project. Equipped with 11 songs and features from Jay Gwuapo and Curly Savv, the body of work set the tone for how Rah Swish would be coming from now on. We’ve seen plenty of recent singles from Rah such as “A Year Ago,” “D&G” featuring Zay G, “Whatchu Like” featuring DreamDoll, and “Mop” with DJ Drewski and Ron Suno.
