K-Trap drops off “Manners (Freestyle)”

Over the past weekend, K-Trap asked his fans if they wanted some new music from him, and they responded in droves. Not one to leave his supporters waiting, the South London rapper then liberated a new track titled “Manners (Freestyle),” which sees him delivering his street raps over hard-hitting drill production courtesy of M1OnTheBeat:

“You ain’t never bunked with the gang on a glide, now we’re combining bine I couldn’t rap no lies, like a driver I’ll be in the back with mine, one hand on a tool I got sweaty palms, manners and let the old lady pass, always had manners, why you talking, we always had hammers...”

“Manners (Freestyle)” also comes with a visual courtesy of Romael, which sees K-Trap and his crew outside completely masked up — a possible call-back to earlier days when the British star would keep his identity hidden with a balaclava. He can also be seen cruising through the streets riding presidentially a Rolls Royce while flanked by a couple of dirt bikes.

“Manners (Freestyle)” follows recent singles like “Warm” and “Maths,” the latter of which was done alongside fellow Gypsy Hill talent DoRoad. Last year, K-Trap liberated his official debut LP Street Side Effects, which contained 16 tracks with additional features from Giggs, Abra Cadabra, Blade Brown, Fredo, M1llionz, D-Block Europe, and Wretch 32. The album was a commercial success for him as well, as it landed him within the top 30 of the UK Albums chart. Prior to that, K-Trap made waves with the well-received mixtapes The Last Whip, The Re-Up, and No Magic in 2017, 2018, and 2019, respectively. Given the frequency of his releases, it’s a safe bet that a new body of work will be making landfall this year.
