Back in April, London’s very own Shift K3Y joined forces with Tinashe for his latest single “Love Line.” The duo decided it was time to amp up the energy with a new visual, and the two surely delivered. As the visual opens up to reveal Tinashe in her element, laying across in her pretty in pink bedroom, she tells the tale of a an experience that’s probably relatable to many:

Let me tell you a story about a boy and a girl/ And the girl loves the boy but the boy doesn’t care, he only calls when it’s 1AM, and she’s tryna find a reason/ Why she waits so long/

Got her nails done, hair done, everything did for a boy who will never come home/ She’s done waiting, she’s done waiting, I’m done waiting for you, ah, ah

So far this year, we’ve received plenty of singles from the multitalented artist. Shift K3Y has presented cuts like “Morning” to kick off 2021, and the track has since gotten several remixes like the “Eli Brown Remix,” “Higgo Remix,” and even a St. Louis Acoustic version. His first long player came from the fusion of his two-part EP series NIT3 TALES, which led to the full-length release dropping in 2016. Since then, he has built up his reputation and catalogue by working alongside names like Stormzy, Craig David, and more.

Recently, Tinashe released her own revamped version of the iconic “I’m Every Woman” record as a part of The Black History Always – Music For The Movement Vol. 2 EP presented by The Undefeated. She can be seen starring in Kaytranada’s “Worst Of Me Visual.” Another offering from the singer is her acoustic version of “Remember When,” which also follows several visuals and features including “Play Fight” and “Hopscotch (Remix)” with THEY., “Rascal (Superstar),” “Only” with ZHU, “Stormy Weather,” the MAKJ-assisted “Save Room For Us,” and more.
