After delivering his latest “Freaky As Me” single with Mulatto last month, Jacquees has shared another cut, this time a cover for his fan-favorite series, Quemix. The R&B singer is the latest to put his spin on “Trackstar” by Mooski. On the song, Jacquees gives the viral beat a fresh paint job:

Think she a model, she love the cameras (Lights, camera, action)/ She know how to act, need a cinema (Uh-huh) Get on Instagram, then check her temper (Yeah)/ She claim she ain’t fucking with me. Dragging my name in the streets that ain’t your best friend, why you keep vеnting to Tokyo Vanity?

You ain’t tweeting from your heart ‘cause it’s a differеnce when you texting me/ Got me in the club, throwing dollars, sipping, smoking, wrapping weed/ Said I get you drunk, but that wasn’t a problem when you was texting me

Last year, Jacquees kept fans fed with singles like “Put In Work” with Chris Brown, “Nasty” with Lil Duval and Tank, and “Why” with Angelica Vila. He also shared a music video for “Pretty Brown” from his Exit 68 project. Mulatto dropped off her debut Queen of da Souf last year. Equipped with 13 records in total, Mulatto grabbed a great list of features including Gucci Mane, City Girls, 21 Savage, Saweetie, Trina and more for the original version of the project, with Lil Baby being the only new addition. The project was led by her successful singles “Muwop” featuring Gucci Mane and “B*tch From Da Souf” featuring Saweetie and Trina.

In a recent interview with REVOLT, Jacquees expanded on his goals he has at this point in his career:

I want some awards and accolades like a Grammy. I’ve only been nominated for one award in my whole career: the iHeartRadio Awards. Never been nominated for nothing else, but I know I have the work ethic to get everything that I deserve. I’m not the type of artist to put myself down for the things I don’t have in life. An award doesn’t represent what I mean to the world. I’m a part of people’s life. People got memories. They can say, ‘Remember we did this when that Jacquees song dropped?’
