ELHAE unleashes new ‘Aura III’ EP

The project includes features from Rick Ross, Masego, and more.

Singer-songwriter ELHAE has officially released his highly anticipated Motown debut, Aura III. To prep fans for the project, he dropped off a taste a few weeks ago with his Masego-assisted “My City” single. The new Aura III is the third and final installment of his well-loved series. Right from the opening words, ELHAE sets the breezy tone of the project with his smooth hook:

I (Uh), can’t control this feeling, baby, I need some sexual healing, baby, I (I, I, I, yeah)/ You should be right here with a n***a, baby (Yeah)/ Let’s go, we should be discovering love underneath these sheets, need some sexual healing, baby, I (I, I, I, yeah)

You should be right here with a n***a, baby (Yeah) (I think it’s time for something new)Yeah (Yeah), yeah, yeah, yeah (Yeah)/ Fun fact, baby, I’m back, back in effect, yeah, fun fact, I got a hunnid around my neck/ Who that? That’s just my ex tryna get back

The project includes a solid list of guest appearances, kicking off with the Rick Ross-assisted “Fun Fact” track and also gifting listeners with appearances from Masego, and Xavier Omar. Aura III also boasts production from elite names like D’Mile. In 2020, ELHAE dropped off plenty of tracks for fans to enjoy, including the aforementioned “Fun Fact” featuring Rick Ross, “Perks” featuring Eric Bellinger, “Need To Know,” and assisted Krono on “Can’t Make Me Drive.” The previous installment of Aura dropped back in 2017.

Following his 2018 Coachella performance, he released his conceptual album Trouble in Paradise in 2019, which included features from Big K.R.I.T., O.T. Genasis, Wale, and Sevyn Streeter. That year also saw the release of his single “Hennesy” and his assist on El Jackson’s “Back Around.”
