Caleborate has finally revealed his brand new project Light Hit My Skin for his supporters to indulge in. Prior to the drop, he steadily prepped fans by sharing cuts like “The Madness” and “Contact,” which also recently just received a freshly released music video to go along with it. On the track, Kota the Friend comes in with the assist, providing an introspective verse to match the feel of the song:

Shout out to the ones that accept me for me, shout out to the homie for selling me good weed/ You might catch a contact if you fuck around with me/ Godspeed to the women that I fucked with, grand rising to the only one I lay up with/

She in love with me and she don’t care about the money, my family say she gold digging I just think it’s funny cuz, she the only one that ever understood/ I am a museum she just come and look/ I am like a library she just came to read/ She don’t judge the books, I be overseas

Light Hit My Skin boasts features from Duckwrth, Samaria, redveil, Kota The Friend, Deante Hitchcock, Cantrell, Cash Campain, and Tone Sinatra across its 15 tracks. The project invites listeners in with its intro track “Clicquot Shower” and closes with the aforementioned “The Madness” single. Caleborate’s last project was 2019 Hear Me Out, and he has released singles such as “Pull Up,” “Untitled (Hit Record),” and “Dream Car” featuring Ciscero.
