Back in October, Eric Bellinger finally dropped his Eric B For President Term 3, and took a well-deserved quick break after the consistent roll out. He has now returned with his latest single, “Only You.” He even got supporters directly involved by hosting a contest to find the perfect cover art for the new drop. On the song, Bellinger slides over some production from Hitmaka:

Only you could make me feel the way you do, you do. Way you keep me comin’, runnin’ back to you./ Keep me runnin’ back to you. It’s something about you, baby, yeah. I can’t describe it, baby, nah. Only you could make me feel the way you do. Keep me runnin’ back to you./ I’m right here my dear, yeah. Pull up on me so sincere. ‘21 it’s your year, ayy. But I need all of your attention now./ Make you my boss chick. Add it up, we on Forbes list, yeah. They proceedin’ with caution, but we don’t care for attention.

Equipped with nine tracks, the Eric B for President: Term 3 project came accompanied by a visual version of the album, consisting of the music videos Bellinger has been dropping steadily leading up to the release. He kicked off in September with the intro track “Godly,” then closed out with “Gravity” and “The 1st Lady.” Aside from his own music, Bellinger was also a part of T.I.’s album The L.I.B.R.A. on the song “How I Feel” alongside Killer Mike with production from David Banner and Forest Factory.

In previous sit-down with REVOLT, Bellinger delved into the importance of taking the right steps outside of an established music career:

With music only, it’s cool to build and establish. But, once you’re established, I wouldn’t say to do a million things if you haven’t reached a certain point of satisfaction. You have to focus on one thing, but once that shit’s like, “Alright, we’re good,” play with the other desires and imagination that you may have. If it’s a passion especially because I look at it like, now that my music has taken me to where I am now, I can use this in my lane still.
