There’s definitely a new Stunna 4 Vegas album arriving in the new future. The past few months have been building up to that, with the North Carolina talent dropping off loose cuts like “Activated,” “Big 4 Flow,” “Rock Em 2 Sleep,” “Go Nutz,” and “Steel (MMKK).” Earlier this week, he added to his flow of releases with “WTW,” a Tay Global-produced cut that borrows from Willie Hutch’s 70’s hit “Tell Me Why Has Our Love Turned Cold” — the same sample Three 6 Mafia used for their Most Known Unknown standout “Stay Fly.” Stunna uses the booming track to rap about getting to the money in spite of various obstacles:
“A hun’, drop the tag, and he gone, don’t hop in that car wit’ yo’ phone, better watch what you sayin’ on songs, speak how I feel, I ain’t holdin’ my tongue, stick wit’ a drum, hold a ton, might fire me when I perform, these niggas be bitch, they don’t mean no harm, and fuck these rap niggas, I don’t need no songs...”
Courtesy of TrvpxJesus, TrvpxHernan, and Book Bag Films comes a simple and straight-to-the-point visual, which sees Stunna rapping while outside with his crew. The clip definitely keeps the attention on the rapper’s high-level lyrics and introspective subject matter.
Last year, Stunna dropped his latest body of work Welcome To 4 Vegas, which — in addition to his frequent collaborator DaBaby — saw 13 songs and features from Toosii, Murda Beatz, and Ola Runt. Prior to that, 2020 saw Stunna liberating his sophomore drop RICH YOUNGIN, a 12-track project with contributions from Offset, Blac Youngsta, and more. In that same time frame, Stunna can also be heard on songs like Polo G’s “Go Stupid,” PHresher’s “All The Smoke (Remix),” and Blac Youngsta’s “Crash Out.”
