Earlier this month, slowthai unleashed another taste of his upcoming TYRON project, the new A$AP Rocky-assisted “MAZZA.” The track, which is named after “mazzaleen,” is a depiction of things going mad, and its brand new visual portrays just that. slowthai opens up the dizzying video, then, A$AP slides in with his verse to match the vibe of the track:

Olive, body shaped like a bottle. Popeye off of spinach, pop a model ‘til she swallow, dropping Tyler off, damn. Light a flame, toss a Molotov. Drop it off, then I Mazel Tov. Pop a whole god dang champagne bottle cork. Still might find me in a mosh pit, and I still ain’t even corporate. Walked in with who I worked with. Yeah, run up on you while you’re jogging. Make you listen to my Walkman. Mixtape shit, streams never seen make a whole boat sink.

slowthai fans rejoiced back in November when he announced that his official follow-up to his debut studio album Nothing Great About Britain has a solid release date set for early 2021. Titled TYRON after his first name, the new project will be arriving Feb 5 this year. TYRON will see 14 new cuts and additional appearances from Skepta, A$AP Rocky, Denzel Curry, James Blake, and more. So far from the project we have “nhs,” which also came paired with a music video, “feel away” featuring James Blake and Mount Kimbie, and now “MAZZA.”

A$AP Rocky’s last full-length release was 2018’s TESTING, which boasted features from names like Kid Cudi, FKA Twigs, and included his fan-favorite cut “Praise The Lord (Da Shine)” featuring Skepta. He also handed out some assists last year on projects like both Lil Yachty’s Lil Boat 3 and Lil Boat 3.5, Juicy J’s THE HUSTLE CONTINUES, French Montana’s CB5, and more.
