It’s no secret Wale excels in the category of versatility, whether he’s going bar for bar on a hard-hitting track, or teaming up with a Nigerian popstar, or slowing it down to feature on a ballad. One of his best zones is feel-good beats, and his new track “Good Vibes (Za)” is just that. On the song, Wale slides over production from Baltimore’s very own kingmidas:

Losing my cool I’m losing my patience. You using your stimulus just to lose it in Vegas. I see a lotta APs, I see a lotta Rolexes./ I’ma buy ‘em off of these n***as right after the ‘demic. I can show you a style, I can show you a rapping./ After all this shit that happened tho we gotta be brothers. Katt Williams said “We good”, no we better than that. But we get shot and nothing happens how we settle for that. You see my culturе expensive that’s why thеy paying it to us./ That be you Terry Crews n***as tap dancing for that. I never let nobody lesser treat me lesser than them. You can’t have no Mr. Chiles eat in Panda Express.

Wale has been busy dishing out verses for his fans to catch. Recently, he teamed up with Griselda/BSF Records for “The Hurt Business” alongside Westside Gunn, Smoke DZA and Wale, and also with Davido and Cheque for the “ZOOM (Remix).” Prior to that, Wale linked up with EarthGang to unleash their collab track “Options,” a cut fans have been seeking since April. Back in June, Wale surprised the world with an EP titled The Imperfect Storm. His last LP, Wow... That’s Crazy made its way to fans ears in 2019 and boasted 15 cuts with additional assists from Kelly Price, Ari Lennox, Boogie, 6LACK, Bryson Tiller, Lil Durk, Rick Ross and Meek Mill, and more. A top ten record on the Billboard 200, Wow... That’s Crazy marked a big success for the D.C. icon since 2017’s slept-on body of work Shine.
