Jamaican generations collide as two artists link up for a fresh new remix. For her latest offering, Grammy award-winning artist Koffee enlists the legendary Buju Banton to add his touch to her single “Pressure.”

“Pressure” was initially released back in July, and around the same time, she also released her single “Lockdown,” which arrived paired with a beautiful visual following Koffee through the streets of Jamaica. Aside from her own singles, she also provided a smooth assist this year on Daniel Caesar’s “CYANIDE: REMIX” and also appeared J Hus’ album for his song “Repeat.” In 2019, she shared her collab single singer with Gunna titled “W.”

Since her rise to fame, Koffee has continuously proven she’s one of the most promising young acts we’ve seen. Her critically acclaimed 2019 Rapture EP grabbed No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top Reggae Albums. Led by her well-loved hit “Toast,” the project also won a Grammy for Best Reggae Album, making her the youngest and first woman to achieve that accolade.

In a recent interview with VIBE, Koffee shared what it meant for to take home the Grammy victory and be able to proudly rep her home country Jamaica:

“It was amazing for me being able to be there and represent Jamaica. Because at the end of the day, I feel like—even to be real nobody knew me at the ceremony. As you know the reggae category and some other categories are separated from like big categories like rap and stuff like that. So we’re not in the big ceremony. But it felt so good going up on the stage and collecting something on behalf of Jamaica, on behalf of reggae. There’s a lot to give thanks for regarding that. It’s good to be able fe spread light and just inspire people.”
