Skip Marley tapped Ari Lennox and Rick Ross to share a visual for their collab track “Make Me Feel,” a song off his debut EP Higher Place. The project dropped on Aug. 28 and was led by his single with H.E.R., “Slow Down.”

The Lacey Duke-directed visual matches the blissful mood of the song and shows Skip, Ari, and Ross watching and enjoying a lively soccer game in an open field. The video closes out with the group of friends cooling off by a stunning waterfall, then ending their day beside a campfire by nightfall.

“‘Make Me Feel’ is all about getting through the tough times together,” says Skip in a recent interview about the song. “Everybody has been stuck inside, so for the video we wanted to bring some big outside vibes and show that even though there are challenges, we have love, we have music, we have sport, and we have each other.

Skip Marley’s EP Higher Place starts off with a feature from his legendary grandfather, Bob Marely (who once went by the nickname “Skip” himself), and makes sure to end the project with another family tie, Damian Marley.

Ari Lennox just recently dropped a single with Anthony Ramos titled “If You Want Me To Stay.” Although her last full length solo project was 2019’s Shea Butter Baby, she has been far from inactive. Ari is heard crooning lovely hooks all over her label Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III project, and also recently collaborated with Nasty C on his song “Black and White.”
