Paloma Ford sets the bar with new ‘X Tapes’ EP

The Long Beach singer is back with the perfect vibes.

Paloma Ford

Paloma Ford may be overlooked in the game as of right now, but that does not take away from the fact that she is a gem nonetheless. It always feels like a breath of fresh air when a new artist hits the scene and delivers quality music — Paloma Ford is certainly that fresh air these days. As a self-reliant woman living out her dreams every day, she personifies the definition of a strong queen that’s starting her reign. Today, the Long Beach artist dropped off a pack of pleasant vibes in the form of an EP titled X Tapes.

Earlier in her career, Paloma has worked with significant artists Snoop Dogg, Meek Mill and more. While solidifying a name for herself as not only a singer, but as a business woman, songwriter, actress and full time mother, her talent and poise is undeniable. 4 years ago, Ford released her debut EP Nearly Civilized which played a huge part in the start of her musical journey with her Billboard charting single “Jada.”

It’s not hard to feel the vulnerability and authenticity in her art, as many people can relate. The smooth and infectious R&B sensations that the singer brings forth is definitely hard to look over and she doesn’t show any signs of slowing down in her journey any time soon.

In a recent discussion with LA Weekly, Paloma Ford spoke a bit about the theme of the X Tapes EP:

The theme of it is more about love and loss, and going through a break-up. But I just keep saying that because I feel like I really tap into my own feelings and emotions, and what women could really relate to. As opposed to with Nearly Civilized, I was going off of like, ‘Ok, I really like this beat.’ With this, it’s a story that I want to tell. These are the beats and lyrics that match that.

Moreover, this EP is something special and deserves your undivided attention, so pour up your favorite wine and press play below!
