Over the weekend, Young M.A liberated her latest project Red Flu, which sees seven new tracks from the Brooklyn emcee. This week, she follows up with a visual from the EP for “Savage Mode,” which sees going living up to the song’s title over NY Bangers’ hard-hitting production:

“Double cup, I’m sippin’ up, middle finger up ’cause I don’t give a f***/

I don’t trust these n***as, keep a glizzy tucked, C cup on my b***h, she like her t***ies sucked/

I pull up when that block call, uh, catch an opp snoozin’, turn his clock off/

When I f*** a thot, I keep my socks on, f*** her with my watch on, that’s when I got time for her…/”

The video is shot by Cisco and sees Young M.A and her crew tearing up New York, riding through the streets in nice cars and plenty of iced out jewelry. Filming the clip was presumably easier to do in NYC given the fact that most are still riding out the Coronavirus pandemic in home quarantine.

Red Flu follows Young M.A’s debut album Herstory in the Making, which was released last September and earned M.A a top 20 entry on the Billboard 200 thanks to a little over 22,000 album equivalent units sold. In a recent interview with Complex, she revealed just how fast it took her to create her new EP release:

“I actually did this in no time. I started in April and finished in a matter of two or three weeks. It’s been a really quick turnaround. There’s been a lot of frustration with this quarantine. I had a lot of time on my hands, so I was able to focus on writing music, listening to beats, and having time to myself. It’s just something to give to my fans. They need it.“
