Tech N9ne keeps it cryptic with ‘ENTERFEAR’ album

The Strange Music rapper is back with his 22nd album.

Kansas City’s independent rap phenomenon Tech N9ne is back with a new album titled ENTERFEAR. With today’s (April 17) drop, the rapid-fire rhymer celebrates the release of his 22nd full-length album. His catalog is deep!

The new project incorporates his double-time shock rap, heavy metal influences, and hardcore bars across 19 tracks. The single “Just Die (Intro 1)” and an accompanying video arrived earlier this month.

A visual for “Dr. Sebagh” featuring Landxn Fyre, one of the songs on the album, also went live for the album launch. Flatbush Zombies provide an assist on the track “Look What I Did” and label mate Krizz Kaliko appear frequently throughout ENTERFEAR.

The notoriously symbolic rapper is dressed in all white, while standing on the bank of a lake of blood, for the album’s cover art, which he posted on IG. In his caption, he asks, “Would you follow me into this fearful lake of blood to see what’s on the other side?”

It looks like a poster for an upcoming HBO show, or some other original sci-fi or horror movie. Will he dive in the blood or will he walk on top of it like a messianic rap god? This picture will likely speak to people in different ways, but regardless, it is thought-provoking.

One to always take care of his fans, N9ne invited them to a virtual listening party on release day. He’s been building his following for 20 years and counting, so it is no surprise that he would keep the connection strong. It’s a scary time for many and his music is a dose of lyrical adrenaline that his fans will surely appreciate.

Tech N9ne is a lot of things: An evil clown, a raging rap artist with a machine gun flow, and a thoughtful child of creation with a serious obsession with anarchy and angels — all of which combine to make the signature brand of strange that defines his sound.
