It’s been five years since Jazmine Sullivan liberated her third studio album Reality Show, a project that boasted 11 cuts and a single feature Meek Mill. This week, she makes a big return with her new single “Pick Up Your Feelings,” which is produced by DZL and sees the Philadelphia songstress singing about a toxic relationship and she’s finally finished with:

“You say that I’ve been actin’ different, yeah, funny how I finally flipped the script on you, when you the one who’s double-dippin’, yeah, you so sloppy, how I caught you slippin’ up/

You’re off the lease, run me my keys, no more poppin’ up to hit it, yeah, I ain’t even got the miles to trip on you/”

Recently, Spotify shared some holiday covers for the upcoming season, and Jazmine Sullivan contributed with her single “The First Noel.” She also blessed her fans with the singles “Insecure” with Bryson Tiller (taken from the “Insecure” OST) and the loose offering “Lost One.” Currently, she’s said to be working on a forthcoming EP, which she revealed in a social media post following the release of “Lost One”:

“THANK U EVERYONE FOR THE LOVE SO FAR! I know “lost one” is hella stripped n short. It just felt like the most appropriate offering from the EP considering everything that’s happening these days! In an instant, especially now we could all lose the closest people to us. Make sure they know how u feel! Make sure u appreciate them while they’re here!! Tho this song is abt an ended relationship, it makes me think of all the people I’ve lost throughout the years. So I’d like to dedicate it to them.. RIP”
