Michigan’s very own Willie The Kid unveiled his newest album Capital Gains last month, and today he keeps his momentum going by dropping the official video for “Egregious.” The new 10-track album from the Michican emcee features Action Bronson, Curren$y, Roc Marciano, Eto, Kiyana and Tekh Togo. On the production side, we see contributions by Alchemist, Evidence, V Don, V12 The Hitman, The Beat Hawks, Brady James, Sport and Mozaic.

The new Orges Bakalli-directed visual sees the rapper spitting rhymes in front of the New York Stock exchange, which is also on the cover of the project. Over the Evidence-produced beat, Willie The Kid gets his bars off, kicking off with a mention of The Notorious B.I.G.:

Yellow bubble coat like I’m Biggie Smalls. My bitch racially ambiguous, inconspicuous. I’m in a blue Benz, spic and span, spent some bands. Three-card molly, pick a hand, black car. Discussin’ business in my backyard, I’m back at it. These f**kin’ bastards, flabbergasted, flappin’ they gums, guessin’ When in question, I side with the rules.

“Egregious” was an official single for the project along with and “Brewster’s Millions,” the Curren$y-assisted single over an Alchemist beat. Shortly after, he dropped off “Cork Fee” featuring Action Bronson and production from Brady James as the final effort before the full project was unleashed. Aside from his own music, Willie The Kid provided assists on “Mexico City” with VH$, Tedy Andreas, and Raz Fresco and Eto’s “Rusty Stainless” with Rome Streetz.

Last year, the Michigan emcee dropped the EP Heather Grey with Eto and V-Don. He also released the feature compilation Pearls, which totaled 20 tracks and boasted a lengthy list of features, including names like Styles P, Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine, Smoke Dza, Curren$y, Cory Gunz, Sean Price, and plenty more. Outside of music, Willie The Kid co-executive produced the PBS documentary I, Too, Sing America: Langston Hughes Unfurled, which was directed by Oscar-winning director Kevin Willmott.
