As the world prepares for Ty Dolla $ign to unleash his highly anticipated project Featuring Ty Dolla $ign, the Los Angeles artist is joined by rapper and singer Post Malone for a melodic collaboration “Spicy.” The new single follows their 2018 hit “Psycho, ”which Post alludes to in is verse. Ty Dolla rides the “Spicy” hook afterwards:

“Who tryna, who tryna go? Who gon’ drop it down like there’s money on the floor? Who tryna, who tryna bust it for the dollars? Who tryna freak, bring their homegirl and run it? She my spicy lil’ mama, she let me bust her piñata. I buy her all the designer, but she’s still leavin’ tomorrow.”

“Spicy” is the fourth official single from Ty Dolla $ign’s third studio album Featuring Ty Dolla $ign. The album title is a clever and well-deserved nod to how many people say if a song features him, it’s going to be a good one, and he addressed the decision in a recent Instagram caption: “Many people have said that when you see a song that says, ‘featuring Ty Dolla $ign,’ you know it’s gonna be fire. As humbled as I am when I hear that, I can’t say I disagree.”

The upcoming album has created a significant buzz especially after Ty Dolla unleashed the all-star level tracklist, which boasted names like Future, Young Thug, Musiq Soulchild, Gunna, Kid Cudi, Thundercat, Big Sean, Kehlani, Anderson .Paak, and more. We’ve already been able to enjoy a few cuts from the album already, such as “Ego Death” with Kanye West, FKA twigs, and Skrillex, “Expensive” with Nicki Minaj, and most recently “By Yourself” with Jhene Aiko and DJ Mustard. Last year also saw loose cuts like “Purple Emoji” with J. Cole, “Hottest In The City,” and the Skrillex and Boys Noize-assisted “Midnight Hour.”
