Pardison “Pardi” Fontaine is shutting down rumors that he and his girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion split due to a domestic abuse incident.

On Tuesday (Jan. 18), the “Backin’ It Up” emcee took to his Instagram Stories to address the rumors. “Stop this cap nobody puttin hands on nobody (At least not in that way),” he wrote. “Been seein the break up rumors and was lettin y’all imaginations run. But y’all gettin too crazy. Ain’t give niggas a story so they made one. We really been on it double time.”

Rumors that the couple broke up started surfacing after fans noticed that Megan deleted all photos of Pardi from her Instagram page. Shortly after, unconfirmed reports spread on social media about the “Big Ole Freak” rapper’s temper causing a rift in her relationship.

As REVOLT previously reported, Pardi and Megan went public with their relationship last February after the “Hot Girl Summer” spitter referred to the New York native as her “boyfriend” during an Instagram Live session. Back in October, the pair celebrated their one-year anniversary. A few days prior, the Houston Hottie spoke about her relationship on the season two premiere of the Facebook Watch series, “Peace of Mind with Taraji.”

“My boyfriend does make me very happy. He definitely takes care of me emotionally,” she said. “He makes my brain feel good. He makes my heart feel good.”

Megan added that their emotional connection was important because she usually doesn’t prioritize that part of a relationship. “That’s a big thing for me, because I used to be so into the physical, right, like… but he moves me, he inspires me, and we just feel like a real team,” the 26-year-old said. “He feels like a partner.”
