Last week, The Weeknd blessed the masses as he unveiled his highly anticipated dawn FM project. The album, deemed a “sonic experience” by The Weeknd, showcases a unique cast of features from Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones, Oneohtrix Point Never, and Jim Carrey. He keeps the momentum rolling in expert fashion as he unleashes the latest visual from the album. In the new “Take My Breath” video, the platinum artist makes his way through the crowd before someone catches his eye:

I saw the fire in your eyes, I saw the fire when I look into your eyes/ You tell me things you wanna try (uh)/ I know temptation is the devil in disguise, you risk it all to feel alive, oh, yeah/ You’re offering yourself to me like sacrifice, you said you do this all the time/ Tell me you love me if I bring you to the light

The Weeknd recently released his “Poison” single, his collaboration with the late Aaliyah, and also joined Rosalia for “La Fama.” He also celebrated the 5th anniversary of his STARBOY album, 6th Anniversary of Beauty Behind The Madness, and the 10th anniversary of Echoes of Silence.

After Hours was released during the first quarter of 2020, and originally saw 14 tracks with a slew of matching visuals, all of which depicted The Weeknd as a character inspired by films like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Joker, and Casino. The project also produced a few special editions, adding on remixes and collaborations with the likes of Lil Uzi Vert, Doja Cat, Chromatics, and Oneohtrix Point Never. After Hours became one of the most commercial successful albums of 2020, landing The Weeknd at the top of the Billboard 200, UK’s Official Albums, and several other charts around the world — the project is certified double platinum in the U.S. alone.
