Nelly is fielding claims that he gave a woman $100 after she returned a lost duffle bag full of cash to him that contained a whopping $300,000.

The claim was first brought to light on Monday (Jan. 10) by the Neighborhood Talk Instagram account. In a video shared online by the platform, the unidentified woman claimed she found a duffle bag filled with $300,000 at a bowling alley that belonged to Nelly. The woman says she then returned the bag to the “Hot In Herre” singer, who awarded her just $100.

In the re-posted clip, the woman’s friends laughed about the situation and made fun of her for returning the cash-filled bag.

“We up here at the bowling alley. She found Nelly bag, it had $300,000 in it,” one man says in the clip. “And guess what she do? She gave it back.”

The person filming the video then asked the woman what she got for returning the hefty amount of cash.

“What they give you? Tell ’em what they give you,” he said, before adding, “They gave her 100 fucking dollars… They gave her $100 for giving him back $300,000.”

Underneath the post, Instagram users sounded off about what they would have done in the situation. However, on Tuesday (Jan. 11), Nelly hopped in the post’s comments and denied ever losing a bag of cash in the first place.

Cap…SUUUUUUUPPPPPEEEEEERRRR CAAPPP,” he claimed. “I didn’t lose shit idk what bag or who’s bag they talkin bout but it dam show wasn’t mine.”

So far, neither the woman nor her friends have responded to Nelly’s comment. It’s unclear exactly where the bag of cash was found, but HotNewHipHop reports that it was retrieved from Midtown Bowl, which appears to be located in Atlanta, Georgia. See the initial video and Nelly’s response below.
