Back in August, Millyz dropped off the fourth installment of his well-received Blanco series, which contained 17 tracks and additional features from Jadakiss, Asian Doll, G Herbo, Benny The Butcher, Jazzy Amra, and Big Homiie G. Just before the new year arrives, the Massachusetts emcee drops off a new visual from said project for “Highbeams,” which sees production from Reybeatz and shows Millyz at his most vulnerable when it comes to love:

“I’m incapable of loving you the way that I want to love you, because we got too much baggage, I don’t even trust myself so it be hard for me to trust you, betrayal turn me to a savage, and I’ve been riding with my high beams on just so I can see clearer, tryna gain perspective on myself, act like I don’t want you but I swear to God I need you, and I’d rather argue with you then to be with someone else, stuck in my ways I call a Lyft so you could come through, tequila in the freezer that’s the shit I always run to, clicking on your story and it looked like you had fun too…”

The accompanying clip sees direction from Dom Bruno and shows Millyz going through the motions with his love interest in what looks like a very dope residence. All of this is interspersed with him and shots of other beautiful women throughout. Earlier this week, Millyz took to social media to express his feelings on not being a part of any list, especially since he feels that projects like Blanco 4 trump many of his peers’ releases:

My album smokin 95% of the albums that dropped this year.. an no one rapping “better” than me.. but this game is about popularity an I overstand that, so I’m not trippin about any list. 2022 more showing an proving…”
