Joe Rogan says Michelle Obama would beat Donald Trump if the former first lady chooses to run for president in 2024. The comedian made the declaration on a recent episode of his “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast.

“I really believe if Michelle Obama runs, she wins,” Rogan said. “She’s great. She’s intelligent, she’s articulate, she’s the wife of the best president that we have had in our lifetime in terms of, like, a representative of intelligent, articulate people.”

Rogan also suggested Obama run with current Vice President Kamala Harris to provide “a double dose of diversity.”

“The only thing that would stop [Obama] is if she bought into some of these policies that are destroying businesses in America that are making people scared,” he continued. “If she somehow or another supported or showed any support for lockdowns and [COVID-19] mandates and all this craziness that’s going on.”

Rogan’s comments were met with a viral Twitter reaction on Wednesday (Dec. 29), with many reminding the podcast host that Obama has said on numerous occasions that she doesn’t plan on getting into politics.

Michelle Obama has stated more than once that she is not interested in getting involved in politics for herself. She is not your token magic negro,” journalist Stephanie Guerilus wrote on Twitter.

Joe Rogan needs to keep Michelle Obama’s name out his mouth!” another person wrote. “…Y’all, she done with politics. Y’all put her & her husband through hell just to elect a racist who started the birther movement to delegitimize his presidency. Y’all claim u love the Obama’s but u don’t.”

Elsewhere in the episode, Rogan said the only way Trump could have another chance at presidency is if he runs with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, forming a “super team.”
