A$AP Ant and his Marino Infantry collective aren’t done delivering 2021 drops to the masses yet. Last week, fans were able to check out their latest release Infantry Warz, which sees a healthy 24 tracks and is led by Ant, Soduh, LuLu P, Baby 9eno, and Lil 2 Dow — in addition, other past collaborators like A$AP Twelvyy, OG Don 999, and Nicky Bleu can be heard throughout. One immediate standout is the opening cut “Short Bus Shorty,” which sees Ant flexing over some infectious production courtesy of Lord Fubu (“Five figures, now I want a mil’, I got a condo, now I want a building”).

Infantry Warz follows July’s Enter The Infantry, Vol. 2, which serves as the sequel to 2019’s Enter The Infantry. Infantry 2 also spawned a wealth of top tier visuals for “Mega Man X,” “Inception,” “Slap $hot,” “One More Chance,” “Hop Off,” “Fantastic 4,” “Ms. Daisy,” “Albert Wesker,” “Marino World,” and “Mr. Feeny.” Following that, Soduh then stepped out with the second installment of his own Gatoraide series, a nine-track offering with a couple of features from LuLu P and Icce. Given the work ethic, one can only expect many more group and solo LPs to make landfall come 2022.

A few months prior, Ant & Co. made an appearance on “No Jumper,” where they spoke on taking notes from Jet Life and Griselda when it comes to keeping his outlet unique from others:

“Instead of going right, I’d rather go left. You get what I’m saying? Shout out to Spizzle … shout out to Sparkheem, Mannyveli. This just the sound that we building bro, like, I don’t wanna sound like everybody else. Like, even if it’s gonna take me another 5 or 3, 2 more years, I gonna be happy with that.”

Press play on Infantry Warz.
