Today’s been a pretty busy day with music releases, but hey, who’s complaining? Prolific singer and songwriter Alicia Keys has been an important piece of the music industry’s puzzle for quite some time now. Since the release of her debut studio album Songs In A Minor 20 years ago, Alicia has been dynamic. If the heavy onslaught of new music that dropped today wasn’t enough for you, you’re in for a major treat as Alicia Keys drops off her double sided, seventh studio album KEYS. Filled with nothing but heat from top to bottom, you should add to your playlists now.

KEYS serves as the follow up to her ALICIA album, which she released last year, and quite through. The multi Grammy award winning artist took to her social media announcing the album’s release, which fans were very much so excited to receive the news. In the Tik Tok video announcement, Alicia Keys revealed that the album would have two parts. With Side A being called Original and Side B being labelled Unlocked, fans are in for a treat. She also revealed that Side B would be produced entirely by hit-maker Mike Will Made-It. “My new album KEYS will have two types of songs,” says a robotic voice in the announcement video, ” with Side A promising laidback piano vibes while Side B will feature upbeat, drums and level up sound.”

Spanning a total of 26 records, Alicia Keys tapped on some of her industry friends for musical contributions. Among those are Pusha T, Lil Wayne, Swae Lee, Khalid, Lucky Daye and Brandi Charlie. If you’re reading this, press play on KEYS and catch a vibe.
