Lil Uzi Vert has been invited to attend the college graduation for a student he helped pay tuition for.

Raheel Ahmad, a student at Temple University in Philadelphia, is set to graduate from college next month and wants the “XO Tour Llif3” rapper to join him for the ceremony. “The time has finally come,” the political science major said in a clip shared to Instagram and TikTok. “I’ve made it through the four years at Temple, graduating with a 3.5 GPA. I’m sure you all remember this video of me asking Lil Uzi Vert at the mall if he could help pay for my college tuition. … I come from a big family and was raised by a single, widowed mother. Finances were always a struggle. After my dad passed away, we had to live paycheck to paycheck.”

REVOLT readers may recall when the young man ran into Uzi back in 2019 at a store and asked him to help him cover his education fees. “90 grand? I could pay for that,” the Eternal Atake emcee previously said. “But this is the thing, though. If I pay for your college tuition, are you gonna finish college or are you gonna bullshit?”

Earlier this year, Ahmad revealed that Uzi and Roc Nation took care of $20,000 of his tuition and were planning to pay the rest once he graduated.

“Ok, so as of right now, it’s in the process,” the student told RapTV. “I’m not allowed to specifically say anything, but I know when I graduate, it’s going to be paid. Roc Nation has put down $20K. When I met him the second time, he told me Roc Nation has already put down $20K.”
