Toxic love is abundant with Post Malone and The Weeknd’s new collaboration “One Right Now,” an Andrew Bolooki, Brian Lee, and Louis Bell-produced effort that sees the artists going tit for tat with a disloyal ex-to-be by engaging in outside affairs:

“Said you wanna have my babies, I fucked you so good, you should pay me, don’t call me ‘baby’ when you did me so wrong, but I got over what you did already, body for a body, so petty, how many of your friends fit in my Rolls? Bought you a new face, you should call me ‘Dad,’ baby Hermès, but you dropped the bag, baby, truth is, maybe one’s just not еnough…”

Yesterday (Nov. 15), the chart-topping duo unveiled a new visual for “One Right Now” that comes courtesy of Tanu Muiño and immediately puts the viewer in the midst of a gory action film — a style that both artists have done successfully with past clips. Essentially, Post Malone and The Weeknd are at war with one another, and spend much of the video dispatching each other’s henchman in pretty graphic fashion. It all ends with a showdown that leaves all dead in its wake, including the artists themselves.

It’s been a couple of years since Post Malone released his third studio LP Hollywood’s Bleeding, which saw 17 tracks and additional features from DaBaby, Future, Halsey, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Ozzy Osbourne, Travis Scott, SZA, Swae Lee, and Young Thug — the project also spawned the popular singles “Wow,” “Goodbyes,” “Circles,” “Enemies,” “Allergic,” and “Take What You Want.” As with previous efforts, Hollywood’s Bleeding was a huge commercial success, landing Post at the top of the Billboard 200 thanks to 489,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week of release — subsequently, the album has also since earned a triple Platinum-certification. With “One Right Now” and the recently released “Motley Crew,” one can only assume that a new album is imminent.

Until then, enjoy “One Right Now.”
