Kendra Jae, who recently signed with 10:22PM in partnership with Def Jam Recordings, dropped off her new single and video for “BIG” over the weekend in advance of her debut EP slated for the first quarter of 2022. The single arrives with a Kalani Kelly-directed video which sees Kendra hitting up a range as she delivers her confidence-filled bars:

Ay, ay, just like that, I like everything big, lil’ stepper falls back/ Wet his face then I dry it, my shit like a laundry mat, at first they wasn’t answering, but now they calling back/ But I get it, I been too committed I done got it lit I like hunnids and I like ‘em blue/ Like I’m banging crip but it’s red up under my shoes

“I want the big wins on this big journey,” the Los Angeles based artist shared in a press release about the new song. “And I’ve been relentless on not letting up until I get them. ‘BIG’ is going to make people realize I’m a real artist, and I cannot and will not be boxed in. My talents have no limits.”

Kendra Jae is embarking on her journey as a recording artist, but has already achieved much success in the entertainment world as a professional dancer. She celebrated her first professional accomplishment as the youngest dancer on Beyoncé’s “Formation World Tour.” She would then go on to tour with Drake for his “Aubrey and the Three Migos World Tour.” Since shared the stage with the likes of Gwen Stefani, Janelle Monae, Tyga, Dua Lipa, and many more. Kendra’s skillset is also included in some of the biggest recent hits today, receiving choreography credit for Chloe x Halle’s award-nominated music video “Do It” and Saweetie’s “My Type.”
