Usain Bolt’s achievements in sports goes without saying — now, he’s looking to earn your respect with his music. Earlier this month, the decorated athlete teamed up with his executive manager and longtime friend Nugent ‘NJ’ Walker to deliver COUNTRY YUTES, which sees 14 cuts with additional features from Bibi Gardner, Kamal Evans, Jae Xo, and (presumably) NJ’s own “yute” NJJ. In a recent interview with REVOLT, Bolt explained his decision to put an album together:

“Music is something that I love … in the pandemic, I had a chance because I was just in Jamaica — couldn’t do much. So, I was like, ‘You know what? Let me start this music.’ That’s how I really got into it. And then the more I do it, the more I loved it. I was like, ‘You know what? We should definitely put out an album.’”

Looking to keep the momentum going, this past weekend saw Bolt and NJ drop off a new visual from COUNTRY YUTES titled “YUH KNOW,” which sees NJ boasting about their wealthy and fulfilling lifestyles:

“Yow Bolt liquor inna the car, me bring some gal fi the par, flip flop white socks enuh star, a A-Team govern the bar, we make we move them a run up their mouth, all what a gwan them a look for cloth, skillful and out with no doubt, brave and steady we roll out…”

Directed by Hangman, the accompanying clip sees Usain Bolt and NJ on a London excursion. Viewers can see shots of the duo making music in the studio, living it up in a nightclub with beautiful women, and even riding on top of a double decker bus as it rides through the city. It doesn’t matter the location — Usain & Co. are bringing the party wherever they go.
