A social media update has Destiny’s Child fans praying for a reunion.

Destiny’s Child fans are already plotting the group’s return after a social media update that some believe signifies new music. On Wednesday evening (Aug. 18), fans noticed that the official Destiny’s Child Twitter and Facebook pages updated their header images. That was enough to send superfans of the beloved trio into a flurry, causing “Destiny’s Child” to trend on Twitter into the night.

“Me running to conclusions after seeing that Destiny’s Child changed their header and after Beyoncé also suggested that new music was coming soon,” one fan wrote.

Another person tweeted that they were “manifesting a Destiny’s Child reunion.”

So far, the group — comprised of Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and Beyoncé — hasn’t responded to rumors about a reunion. However, the social media update does follow Bey’s recent feature with Harper’s Bazaar, where she revealed she’s been working on music for “a year and a half.”

Back in May, the 39-year-old also said she was “cooking some music” while chatting on the phone with Williams. The three stars have continued to stay in touch and support each other over the years despite disbanding as a group in 2006.

In February, Rowland revealed Beyoncé and Williams supported her via Zoom during the birth of her son and paid her a visit soon after he was born.

“The girls were literally over here at the house just recently and when they met the baby it was like another part of my heart just… Being able to share space with Michelle and Bey is truly a gift,” Rowland told ET at the time.

“It’s really a gift because we’ve known each other for so long and the industry doesn’t really make friendships… It’s the nature of it and we still have each other after all these years,” she continued. “And I’m just so grateful for them and they are a highlight of my life. Not professionally, but our friendship and our sisterhood — you’re going to make me cry.”
