The collection is intended to celebrate Black cowboys and cowgirls and their influence on American rodeo.

Beyoncé has never shied away from her roots, so it was only a matter of time before the Houston native dedicated an Ivy Park drop to Black cowboys and cowgirls. On Friday (Aug. 6), a promo video for the forthcoming Ivy Park Rodeo collection dropped, showcasing Queen Bey in her element.

The teaser features Beyoncé in several outfits, including a cow-print jumpsuit, some denim looks and a royal blue bodycon dress, and captures her as she flaunts her roping skills. She is joined by Snoh Aalegra, Tobe Nwigwe, Monaleo, model Paloma Elsesser, rapper and “The Wire” actor Glynn Turman — one of the real cowboys she made sure to shine a light on in the two-minute clip.

“[Turman] says from as long as he could remember, he has had a fascination with horses,” reads the caption to a post on Ivy Park’s Instagram page. “An accomplished horseman and rodeo champion off-screen, he and his wife, Jo-Ann, co founded and direct a free Western-style summer camp, ‘Camp Gid D Up’ for inner-city and at-risk youth since 1992.” The caption goes on to list his past accomplishments in roping competitions and shares his recent decision to pass his legacy down to his granddaughter Melinda, who also appears in the ad.

The new Ivy Park collection, per Adidas, draws inspiration from the Black cowboy experience, bringing a Western twist to the classic street and athletic wear. The goal is to bring awareness to the Black pioneer’s influence on the American rodeo.

Ivy Park Rodeo features 58 women’s and unisex pieces, five different pairs of shoes and 13 accessories, and is scheduled to drop Aug. 19 on the Adidas website. Items may cost between $45 to $200 and will be available in sizes XXXXS to 4XL. If the swimsuit drop was an indication of what’s to come, there may be a few fans who miss out on getting the latest Ivy Park drip.
