The single boasts production from Guilty Beatz.

After sharing her Be Right Back EP earlier this year, Jorja Smith returned today (Aug 5) with a new single “All Of This.” Produced by Grammy-nominated producer & DJ Guilty Beatz, the draws inspiration from Amapiano, a genre for which Guilty is often known for including within his productions. On the song, Jorja effortlessly rides the upbeat tempo with ease:

Where did your fate go? Was I just to fall on my own?/ If this room was full of lies, is that how you fooled me with love?/ I see how you changed me, I know what you said/ It don’t make me hate you/ I wish that it did

I’m, I’m trying to find words, trying to make sense/ If I don’t try, where do I find the lies between the lines?/ Why does it hurt so much? Won’t understand, no, I can’t let this go/ Oh, you made plans now, you can’t shut me down

Along with the release, Jorja made sure to give an explanation about how the song came to be and what its message is. “I met [Guilty] when I went over to Port Antonio in Jamaica for a writing camp in 2019. He’s so wonderful to work with and when we initially started the song, it was more a fall to the floor type beat,” she says via press release. “He’s shared Amapiano playlists with me before and then during the first lockdown in 2020, he sent me a version of the song like it is now. It’s all about someone who doesn’t deserve you and thinking wow, you really had all of my once, ew.”

The aforementioned Be Right Back EP was the first body of work from Jorja since her 2019 critically-acclaimed Lost & Found debut album. Lost & Found was nominated for a Mercury Prize, won her a second BRIT Award for British Female Solo Artist, and earned her a nomination for Best New Artist at the GRAMMY Awards.
