Just last week, rising Washington rapper Travis Thompson unveiled his BLVD BOY project. The 14-track album included assists from names like Westside Boogie, GLENN, KHRIS P, Dan Caplen, and was preceded by singles “Parked Cars” featuring KYLE and Kota The Friend. To celebrate the release, he now shares the official visual for the G-Eazy-assisted “Dead Prezis.” In the video, the two spend a majority of their time cruising in some sweet rides as Travis handles the hook:

All I ever wanted was a couple dead presi’s (Yeah)/ In the pocket, and a couple bad hoes goin’ steady (Yeah)/ And a little neck pain from the gold chain heavy (Yeah) And the crib lookin’ like I got the cocaine ready, where the fetti?

Baby, you can tell I’m gettin’ plenty (Woo) I be ridin’ in the ‘Cedes, I don’t really miss the Chevy (Skrrt)/ Goin’ eighty, blowin’ sticky, and the windows never tinted

The Bay Area’s very own G-Eazy mades his return last week with a brand new single “At Will,” and he tapped in with rising star EST Gee for the assist. Currently, G-Eazy is said to be putting the finishing touches on his forthcoming album These Things Happen Too, the sequel to 2014’s These Things Happen

In terms of the aforementioned BLVD BOY, Travis recently shared a few words about the origin of the title. “I named the album BLVD BOY because my very first mixtape was called Ambaum, which is the the street I grew up on, and this feels like not exactly closing the chapter on me being a kid- but starting to connect the dots and really just grow up,” he explains via press release. “Sonically I wanted it to feel like every piece of the neighborhood growing up. From like west coast trunk slapping shit to pop melodies that my momma played on the way to church.”

Be sure to press play on Travis Thompson’s brand new music video for “Dead Prezis.”
