If you’re not familiar with LunchMoney Lewis, your favorite artist definitely is. In addition to collaborating with Doja Cat, City Girls, and more for his own releases, he’s also helped to craft top quality cuts for others — Nicki Minaj, Yo Gotti, Saweetie, and Maroon 5 are among those who have benefitted.

This month, his latest contribution to the game comes from his own Lunchbox Records in the form of Chicago-to-South Florida rising star Lil $o$o, who has released a new single titled “Better Life.” Produced by Lunch, Toju, and TheOnlyDiet, “Better Life” sees the young talent harmonizing about her financial focus and determination to win despite any obstacles in front of her:

“I’m too turnt, I love the money, blue hunnids, bitch talkin’ bout me, I ain’t even gonna stunt it, I don’t hear you unless you talkin’ money, pockets flooded, and pussy taste like honey…”

Via press release, Lil $o$o spoke in more detail on the song’s creation:

“I’m proud of this one, I wrote it by myself and got in a zone. I’m focused on a mission to provide a better life for my son. Ain’t nobody stopping that.”

“Better Life” also sees an accompanying visual courtesy of Mel Vision, which begins with a young woman in a car with her daughter, promising that sunny days are ahead of them both. Viewers then see $o$o performing the track in different locations — on top of what looks to be a classic El Camino, on the block dancing and playing hopscotch with some children and her crew of friends, and in a purple-lit room with a bucket of money. Quick eyes can also spot a cameo from a smiling LunchMoney Lewis himself.
