Who knows when we’ll finally get an official debut LP from O.T. Genasis, who’s been delivering well-received mixtapes and club ready cuts for the past decade. This past weekend, the Long Beach star liberated a new single titled “What Is Your Name,” a track that keeps with the in-your-face boastfulness of previous efforts:

“I’m lit, yeah, I’m a boss, I need to stop fucking ‘fore my dick fall off, I’m drunk, turn, so wire, and rotate these hoes like a tyre, I had a bad bitch that I used to date, but when a nigga heard my name he always hate I’m like, wait, something wrong, what’s going on? Why you fuckin’ with O.T.? Come suck this dick, I ain’t got time for this, and if you ain’t tryna fuck you better go home bitch…”

It’s been five years since Genasis blessed us with his latest project Coke N Butter, a 12-track offering that saw additional appearances from 2 Chainz, YG, T.I., Remy Ma, and Quavo. Since then, he has continued to deliver a double album’s worth of dance floor classics — “Everybody Mad,” “Too Blessed,” “Cash On It,” “Bae,” “Bae (Remix)” with G-Eazy, Rich The Kid, and E-40, “Look At That,” “When I Get It,” “Big Shot” with Mustard, the unintentionally hilarious “Never Knew” and “Tonight,” “I Look Good,” “Back To You” with Chris Brown and Charlie Wilson, “Detergent,” and “Big League.” In addition to his own releases, Genasis could also be heard on songs by Akon, DJ Whoo Kid, Afrojack, K. Michelle, Snoop Dogg, Snow Tha Product, DJ Esco, Busta Rhyme’s Flipmode Squad and Conglomerate collective, T-Pain, RJmrLA, Lil’ Kim, Audio Push, Trae Tha Truth, Lil Keed, and J Stone.

Press play on the visual for O.T. Genasis’ “What Is Your Name” below, which sees him conducting a pretty wild bus tour for some unsuspecting L.A. visitors.
